Clay Shooting for Recreation and Skill Development

Ledyard Sportsmen Club offers two dedicated skeet fields, available every Sunday at 9:00 am. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to improve your skills, experienced members are available to teach you the fundamentals and help you enjoy the sport of skeet shooting. The fields are ideal for trying out the sport or honing your technique.

In addition, trap shooting is available for those interested in practicing for hunting or simply exploring a different shooting discipline. Our trap house features a manual clay-throwing machine capable of launching two clays simultaneously, operated manually for a hands-on experience. This setup provides a fun and effective way to practice your shooting skills in a relaxed setting.

Whether for recreation, practice, or developing hunting skills, our skeet and trap facilities offer a safe and supportive environment for all enthusiasts.
